Mail, parcels & lockers / Receiving details

Clear before it arrives.

These are the practical limits of the three plans. Your confirmed receiving agreement identifies the recipient, accepted items, compartment size, declared value and start date.

Receiving and collection

What to arrange before sending.

Activation first

Do not redirect a parcel or publish a new mailing address until Burrard has confirmed your plan and receiving instructions. The service is for the approved business or individual and named collectors.

Staffed access

Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Sunday. Carrier arrival times are outside our control. Plan collection within these hours.

Storage periods

Parcel Hold: seven calendar days for one parcel. Business Address: seven days per parcel and 30 days per letter. Private Locker: accepted contents inside the assigned compartment can stay for the paid month; letters held separately keep the 30-day limit. Capacity limits still apply.

Extra handling and extensions

Monthly plans include 20 letters, four parcels and four visits. Additional accepted items cost C$1 per letter, C$15 per parcel and C$10 per visit. Agreed parcel extensions outside Private Locker cost C$5 per day, subject to space. We confirm additions first.

Items and declared value

Tell us the contents, dimensions, weight and value. We confirm acceptance and the applicable custody terms before payment. No dangerous goods, perishables, cash, controlled-storage items or damaged batteries. A locker is not a safe-deposit box.

Finishing a plan

Cancel a monthly plan before its next billing period. Arrange collection of remaining items by the end of your paid term. Forwarding, postage and uncollected-item procedures must be agreed in writing; they are not unlimited free storage.
